Nieves Heart Foundation for Children's Holds Golf Tournament to Support the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit

On Monday, April 26, 2010, the Rafael Nieves Heart Foundation for Children held its 10th Annual Golf Tournament at Potomac Ridge Golf Club to support the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit. 

Over 120 golfers participated in the event, raising funds to support the purchase of essential equipment, fund research and improve the quality of care for children with cardiac illnesses.

Through the support of The Nieves Heart Foundation, over $200,000 has been raised so far to help put the most vulnerable children back on the road to recovery.
