BRIEF HISTORY: Deceased was a 3 year-old black male whose cause of death is drowning. Autopsy findings: Pulmonary edema and congestion & cerebral edema. He was diagnosed with autism and had delayed speech. ADI-R information on file. Neuropathology Diagnosis: Anoxic-ischemic encephalopathy in basal ganglia, acute and brain edema. Brain weight is 1130g.
